« This is a great hotel in a great location, particularly for our purposes. Philippe and his staff run a fantastic service and could not have been more helpful. We were on an annual road bike trip and, as a base for this, it was perfect. Good food (and lots of it), bike security and advice re routes, food stops etc. Hotel is very relaxed; rooms are very clean and comfortable; location is ideal for the town and the hills. We stayed at the Primerose for 10 days in Aug-Sept and had a fantastic time. Aside from being a perfect location for cycling the famous climbs of the Tour de France and great hiking, Philippe and his staff were awesome. We chose the half-board option and were very pleased with the willingness to accommodate our vegetarian needs. We certainly did not go hungry! Philippe provided lots of good info on the cycling routes and also loaned us 4 different hiking guides. The secure storage room is great for hanging your bike and storing your travel case and accessories. Our room was great – better than a standard 2 star. All in all, a recipe for a great trip. »

Our “Chef’s menu” (a well balanced 3-course meal with a regional touch: a starter, a main course with vegetables, a dessert) changes every night and is inspired by local culinary traditions and light cooking.
Moreover, we are used to welcoming cyclists from all over the world, and we know how to adapt our services for their needs, eg allowing sufficient carbohydrate at dinner (extra pasta is served every night at dinner time to our cyclist guests), extra proteins and calories at breakfast (hot drink, fruit juice, Croissant, French bread, Butter and Jam, Yogurt, Cereals (Corn Flakes, a selection of Muesli), Ham/Cheese, Banana (or Apple or Orange).
